OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide a fun, loving environment for children in which they can learn about the Bible and experience the love of Jesus.
Our desire is to assist parents in laying a solid spiritual foundation of Biblical principles that will guide children throughout their lives.
Children are the future, and they will shape the destiny of the world! So, we believe it is extremely important to develop a Kingdom of God worldview in our children. Therefore, we are focused on building and strengthening within each child a real and growing relationship with Christ through relevant, age-appropriate Biblical teaching and practical life application.

Just like adults, your children can connect with God and encounter the Holy Spirit. Vineyard Kids cultivates an environment that nurtures each child’s personal relationship with God, so this younger generation will grow up passionately in love with their Heavenly Father, with roots that run deep, and a faith that is unswerving. Your children will get to worship together, play together, and be given consistent opportunities to engage in their Sunday service through fun activities and creative interactions.

Our primary value in Vineyard Kids is relationship. We want to do everything we can to draw kids into a genuine relationship with God and with each other – that's where real life-change happens!
One way that we effectively do this is by creating an environment that is real, relaxed, safe, relevant, and, of course, fun! We are committed to giving our absolute best, relying on God as the source of everything we need.
Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” Therefore, things like team training, punctuality, preparedness, and attitude are very important to us.

Here at Vineyard Church of Baton Rouge, we believe that everyone gets to serve. We are all part of what the Bible calls the ‘Body of Christ’. Each of us has been given specific gifts for the purpose of honoring God and blessing others. In Vineyard Kids, we are in search of people who are living examples of Jesus; people who are "FAST": Faithful, Available, Servant-Hearted, and Teachable. We believe that as we allow God to work in and through us, our lives will have a profound impact on our children, our community, and our future generations.
